One farm. Three generations. No shortcuts.

This is Brazilian coffee doing what Brazilian coffee does best: sweet, smooth, and naturally processed to bring out the fruit without any fuss. The Nunes family have been farming the Cerrado Mineiro region since 1984, and the third generation is now running things with an agronomist's eye for quality over volume. It shows.

The farm

Grown across 304 hectares in Patrocínio at 900–1,000m, the beans are a mix of Acaia, Arara, Bourbon, Catuai, Geisha, Mundo Novo, and Topázio varieties. Naturally processed, meaning the cherries are dried whole in the sun, which gives the coffee its characteristic sweetness and body.

Why it matters

The Nunes farm holds Sucafina's IMPACT verification, which means it meets independently assessed social and environmental standards. Not a sticker they bought; something they earned by shifting the whole operation from bulk commercial production to quality-focused specialty growing.

In the cup

Rich and rounded, with natural sweetness and a clean finish. Works well as espresso, holds up with milk, and won't punish you if your technique isn't perfect.

Good coffee from people who take it seriously, without making you feel like you should too.
